Where do you learn it?

While the basics of flamework are not extraordinarily difficult and there are many self-taught artists who make beautiful creations, I am convinced that a good introductory lesson is invaluable. But where do you find such classes?

You can already find a list of venues here. We hope to grow that list quickly.

Do you know a good address?

I learned "the trade" in night school. The two-year course "blowing decorative objects in borosilicate glass" formed the foundation of my knowledge. That was complemented by workshops, study tours, fascinating meetings with other flameworkers and countless hours of inspiring YouTube videos viewing. I share my passion for the flame at L'Atelier au Jardin, where we offer engaging workshops.

We would like to expand our list of recommended workshops and are looking for passionate teachers.

Do you have experience as a workshop giver or know someone who enthusiastically shares the art of glassblowing? If so, don't hesitate to share it.
