What does a pro account include?
Access to professional wholesale prices. Professional customers receive a discount based on their total purchase amount from the past year.
Special rates only visible to you. Your special rates will become visible once you are logged in as a professional client. Would you like to consult the basic rate, for example for resale in your studio? Then please log out.
Invoicing in the company name. Invoices are emailed in PDF format or delivered via the Peppol system.
Intra-Community deliveries within the EU. For companies based outside Belgium, with a valid VAT number, the invoice will be charged without VAT (0% rate intra-community delivery). For companies in Belgium, VAT is always charged according to the Belgian rate
Who can apply for a professional account?
A professional account is intended only for individuals who work professionally as glass artists, teach or operate a studio professionally. Hobbyists are not eligible.
We verify that the applicant is effectively professionally active, including through the VAT number, trade number or other supporting documents proving professional activity.
1. Become a customer
Requesting a professional account is only possible for existing customers. Thus, you must have placed an initial order before your professional account can be activated. The amount of this first order counts to calculate your annual discount*.
2. Request a professional account
This can only be done by email to info@biss-glass.eu
List the following data:
- company name
- name of contact person
- billing address
- VAT number / company number
- phone number
- brief description of your activities (studio/art discipline …)
3. Approval of your professional account
Once your company number has been checked and approved, your account will be adjusted and you can enjoy discounts. The discounts are calculated based on the total amount of orders already placed.
At the end of December, the discount rate for the following year is awarded.
4. Log in and place your order
Once you log in, you will see the adjusted prices.
You will receive a pro forma invoice in your account page. The official invoice will be sent to you by email or via the Peppol system.
*How does the annual discount work?
Customized discount: The discount is customized and is based on the previous year’s total purchases.
With a PRO ACCOUNT you will always enjoy adjusted prices and benefits, but also an extra percentage discount, based on the annual purchase amount. The percentage may vary depending on the purchase amount. The more you spent in the previous year, the higher the discount will be. On Jan. 1, the new discount rate is automatically applied.

Determination of discount rate
The discount percentage is determined based on the total value of the goods purchased by the customer during the period from January 1 to December 31 of the previous calendar year. When calculating this annual total, only the net prices of the goods purchased are taken into account, excluding VAT, shipping costs and any services.
Non-committal nature of discounts
The granting of such discounts is always entirely without obligation and cannot be enforced by the customer. B.I.S.S. Services BV / BISS-GLASS.EU reserves the right to change or withdraw these discounts at any time with regard to future orders, without any right or claim on the part of the customer.
Professional nature of the customer
The discounts mentioned are exclusively granted to professional customers. B.I.S.S. Services bv reserves the right to refuse or withdraw the granting of discounts in case of doubt about the professional nature of the customer. For verification purposes, B.I.S.S. Services bv may request, among other things, a VAT number, company number or other documents proving the customer’s professional activity (such as an employment contract or employer’s certificate).
