Violet Medley is ideal for playing with flames and a delightful striker. The rod itself is an avocado green color. You can work the glass by heating it white-hot and first melting away the surface haze. AVervolgens you let the piece cool until the orange glow is gone and then you can bring the purple forward into the edge of the flame. Places where you previously burned away the haze will turn a dark, transparent purple and where the haze remained, the glass will become cloudy blue.
