Reichenbach’s handmade rods dare to vary in color quite a bit. For example, Flamingo L6218 tends sometimes to orange, sometimes to terracotta. The batch of Flamingo we currently have in stock is rather powder pink to terracotta.

Effetre, the only producer of glass semi-finished products on the island of Murano
The strength of effetre is the rich variety of colors and the steadfast quality of the glass.
The techniques currently used at Effetre date from the 19th century, the period when the color composer-technician Vincenzo Moretti rediscovered the difficult technique of murrine from the Romanesque period and created a multitude of colored glass and enamel on Murano. Hence, Effetre Murano products are also still known as Moretti. By combining modern technology with the knowledge of ancient craftsmanship, the brand has succeeded in making colored rods on an industrial scale, while retaining the qualities of traditional craftsmanship.
